My finds in Paris: Première Classe and Tranoï

The Pont Alexandre III in the evening, with the Eiffel Tower behind it.

At the beginning of October I was back in Paris, at two trade fairs on two days. On 2 October at Première Classe, in the tent in the Tuileries. On 3 October at Tranoï, in the Palais Brongniart, the old stock exchange. Both fairs belong to Paris Fashion Week. There are three finds I would like to show you.

INOUI: scarves that turn into bags

At INOUI it was the beautiful printed designs that won me over. The bags are extremely light. Scarves become bags there, Scarf Bags they call them.

Catherine Osti: cuffs, collars and ties

I had already come across Catherine Osti and her cuffs, collars and ties back in March. This time I bought the pieces for our shop. That mixture of modern and retro is something I find rather special. I will tell you more about meeting her in a post of its own.

The next day: Tranoï at the Palais Brongniart

From the tent in the Tuileries to the old stock exchange. Tranoï is held in the Palais Brongniart.

Anita Bilardi: a game board as a bag

A Monopoly board on a leather bag, now that really is something. I found it at Anita Bilardi, an Italian label I have known from the fairs for years. And then the banknotes: printed one by one on leather and hung from the handles. There is even a model with the Risk world map. In times like these, a little something to smile about does no harm.

In the reel I am showing you my finds from both days at the fairs.

And you?

Would you carry a game board bag? Do write and tell me, I am curious.

From this trip I have already shown you Papier Royal at the Palais-Royal (in German). And if you would like to know what a year of trade fairs actually looks like, I wrote about that in Messen, Mode, Metropolen (in German).
